Academic Excellence Meets Clinical Innovation
Dr. Daia began his journey with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Damascus University, followed by advanced education in the U.S., where he earned a Master of Science in orofacial pain and completed an orthodontic residency at the University at Buffalo. Dual board certifications from the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of Orofacial Pain underscore his rare expertise, blending aesthetics, function, and long-term wellness.
Expanding Legacy and Earning Community Trust
After gaining clinical experience at DentalOne Partners, Midwestern Dental Associates, and Bright Side Dental, Dr. Daia took over the long-established practice of Dr. William E. Molloy. Under his leadership, the practice has expanded to include advanced services such as airway-focused orthodontics, chronic headache relief, burning mouth syndrome treatment, and TMJ therapy. His integrated approach has earned referrals from ENTs, neurologists, pediatricians, and sleep medicine specialists across the region.
An Educator, Author, and Global Advocate
Dr. Daia is also deeply committed to education and thought leadership. He authored Low Level Laser Therapy for Management of Temporomandibular Disorders, a widely used clinical resource, and recently lectured at the Canadian Association of Orthodontists on managing TMD in orthodontic care. Beyond dentistry, he serves on the executive board of the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit, supports the Syrian American Rescue Network, and volunteers for community and environmental causes across Michigan and Canada.
