2. A Conversation with Our Treatment Coordinator

Next, you’ll sit down with our treatment coordinator for a one-on-one conversation. We want to understand your specific concerns, any pain or symptoms, likes and dislikes about your teeth, expectations, and any worries you might have. We’ll go over any documents and consent forms. This is your time to share what’s most important to you, so we can tailor your treatment plan to your goals.

At Daia Orthodontics, we use the advanced 5D iTero scanner to create a detailed 3D digital model of your teeth and gums that will be available for you to see in real-time. This quick, comfortable process replaces traditional impressions, eliminating the mess and discomfort of putty molds. The iTero scan gives us precise data to design your personalized treatment plan, ensuring a perfect fit for braces or Invisalign. The scan also helps us identify subtle issues like misalignments or jaw concerns early, allowing us to create a proactive and effective plan tailored to your needs.  

4. X-Rays and Discussion with Dr. Daia

We’ll take X-rays to examine your bone structure, airways, and overall orthodontic health. Afterward, the doctor will review the images with you, explaining what they reveal about your jaw, teeth alignment, and any underlying issues that may need attention. 

5. Measurements of Your Mouth

To ensure precise treatment planning, we’ll take measurements of your mouth, specifically how far your jaw can open, to assess if you have a limited range of motion.  

6. Checking Your Bite

The doctor will assess how your upper and lower teeth come together when you bite. This helps us identify any misalignments or functional concerns that may need to be addressed during treatment. 

7. Photos and a Sneak Peek at Your Future Smile

We’ll take photos of your smile to document your starting point and for Invisalign cases. Using an app powered by artificial intelligence, we can even generate a preview of your post-treatment results so you can see the amazing transformation ahead.
